I entered the One Model Place Bikini Contest in Aug. 2004 and was happy when I placed 2nd. One Model Place displayed my picture along with the rest of the top 10 winners. A few days later I emailed One Model Place asking about my prizes and they replied back a few days later saying the results were not official even though our pictures were already displayed. They explained that they had to make sure that everyone was following the rules.
A few days later they displayed the winners again with my picture and name removed from the top 10 completely. They did not accuse me of cheating or not following the rules and I did follow the rules and did not cheat, in fact they did not contact me at all with any type of explanation for why I was removed from 2nd place and from the top 10.
I emailed Dan Beyer, Marketing Director since this is who One Model Place told me to contact with contest problems. I emailed Dan Beyer about 3 times and never heard back. He ignored my emails. I called him a few days later and just received a recording.
One Model Place acted in a very unprofessional manner with me and I am very disappointed with my treatment as a paying customer for their site. I am entitled to my 2nd place prizes and would like your help. Also other models need to know about the poor treatment that I received from One Model Place regarding this matter and something needs to ge done about the illegitimate contests One Model Place has.

While I am sorry for this persons bad experience, I'll take a pass on being the root cause. It's even possible that I had left TVTAXI.com, inc by the time this incident occurred. (TVTAXI being OMP's parent company.) There are a million reasons why an email would not be received. I never received this persons complaint in any way shape or form. I was NOT the individual responsible for handling contest and competition problems. The Marketing department did NOT run these events. During my tenure at OMP I helped alot of members If I was indeed there and somehow this person fell through the cracks my sincerest apologies...My own perception of how contests and competitions were run at OMP is that the Team assigned did their best to treat everyone in a fair and equitable manner. When dealing with the public there are always disgruntled individuals and situations that cannot be repaired. I have been in this boat myself in regards to other commercial concerns. I just give up and move on. Success is the best revenge. -db www.DanBeyer.com FortLauderdan.com Drop.io/dbresume
